The Dollar Store!

Good afternoon

Ahhhhh the dollar store, everything's only a buck. Which means you can take advantage of the good deals. We stopped by our local dollar tree and picked up some items. Sometimes there is no need to get fancy tools from Lowe's or Home Depot when you're on a tight budget. Yes, we understand that you get what you pay for...but if something breaks at least you will be able to sleep at night knowing it was just a measly dollar.

We picked up gardening gloves, they were made pretty well for only a dollar. They came in many different colors and patterns. So that means we can pull some weeds by hand while getting exercise. Next, in the gardening section they had flower pots. There was clay, plastic, stoneware etc. Although we did not have a need for them at the time, it is still a great deal if you are potting house plants.  We saw that they had a collection of pruning tools as well (my fav).  I would use them more for home plants or small branches.

What i found neat was they had colorful knee pads for when you're kneeling down and it provides a cushion. They came in purple, green and blue! We came across the gardening tool collection that includes a cultivator, trowel and transplanter SO cool. In the past we have purchased flower seeds from the dollar store.But, we have yet to try them out - so if anyone has purchased flower seeds from the dollar store , how do you like them??
